Tijekom mjeseca travnja i svibnja učenici izvannastavne aktivnosti Održivi vrt su u spiralnom vrtu provodili istraživanje obilježja tla i rasta biljaka. Pomoću mjernog uređaja pratili su temperaturu tla, kiselost (pH), osunčanost, vlagu tla te mjerili visinu biljaka. Mjerenja su obavljana tri puta dnevno, a podatke su bilježili u posebnu tablicu. Nakon prikupljanja podataka učenici su u sklopu premeta Geografija i pod mentorstvom nastavnice Tanje Ivaniš analizirali podatke, izrađivali grafikone i uspoređivali rezultate. Na temelju dobivenih podataka donosili su zaključke o utjecaju mikroklimatskih uvjeta u okolišu i tlu na rast i razvoj biljaka u našem spiralnom vrtu. Ova aktivnost omogućila je učenicima razvijanje istraživačkih vještina, analitičkog razmišljanja te primjene znanstvenih metoda u stvarnom okruženju.
MEASUREMENTS IN THE SPIRAL GARDEN
During April and May, the students conducted research on soil characteristics and plant growth in the spiral garden. Using a measuring device, they monitored soil temperature, soil acidity (pH), sunlight exposure, soil moisture and measured the height of the plants. The measurements were taken three times a day, and the data were recorded in a specially designed data table. After collecting the data, the students analyzed the results, created graphs, and compared their findings. Based on the collected data, they drew conclusions about the influence of microclimatic conditions and soil properties on the growth and development of plants in our spiral garden. This activity enabled the students to develop their research skills, analytical thinking, and their ability to apply scientific methods in a real-world environment.
